If you have developed substantial personas for your product, service or a product line, it is vital you hire your participants based on your personas as it will enhance the value of the results that you will receive as they will reflect the fictional characters you already design for, and extend them with real life data.

I have done redesign project for Danish educational place - Suhrs Højskole. I had a pleasure of using a well-defined persona data and hired participants based on the personas for my exploratory research and final user test. It all resulted in fast definition of information architeture and easy wireframing with few questions left. Upon the launch the new website ranked highly in user engagement with up to 7 pages per visit, and the registrations via the website went up.
